I'm not really into PTU, but some of my friends will love this, especially the unlimited upload speed part.
I just wonder how would you make money from your service; do you run ads as people download file ?

There are ads on the site that are displayed prior to the user downloading a file.

Damn, 35 mins and some files are still stuck in FTP after upload and not appearing in file manager. Thanks for slowing my upload queue.

EDIT: You want me to use ftp.uploadrocket.net so it randomly use a FTP server for upload (instead of one of the FTP's IP address) but occassionally the files fails to transfer to file manager even after an hour (its more than an hour now and still no signs of the file I uploaded earlier) and I ended up wasting my own bandwidth to reupload it again.

Do find a solution for when your FTP gets stuck and fails to transfer the files to the account because I'm using the same basic FTP method with Uploaded and there was never a time the files are slow to get transfered from FTP to the account.

We have more than 50 servers for upload (Site upload and FTP) - None are more than 50% capacity - Sometimes networks are slow or whatever - But it is beyond my control.

As I said to you before using a fixed IP has just as much chance of being slow as a random IP because network congestion is a random thing!

If you are having problems uploading simply stop your FTP client and login again and you will get another server.

I know it will choose a random server if I upload again which I did btw but whatever happen to the files the first time I uploaded? Upload is successful thru the usual syntax of ftp://username:mypassword@ftp.uploadrocket.net/ which chooses the random server but the files till now disappeared to the abyss and did not appear at all in my file manager (other than the files that I uploaded the second time through remote upload). As you mentioned before, bandwidth isn't cheap either and I'm paying for mine too.

I'm not talking about the FTP speed of your servers (which is great) but the fact that random files fail on numerous occasion to transfer properly to the filemanager. If I choose a fixed FTP server IP of yours everyday, at least I know for that day, that FTP server is able to transfer the files properly to my account instead of having random files going into oblivion and not appearing at all. After that which I have to spend extra bandwidth and time to fix the missing files from my account.

If you send me the FTP log from the 1st connection I will be able to see what server the files went to and go from there.

This is the same for any server problems you guys see - Please try to find out what server we are talking about and I can try to fix it.

I'm loving uploadrocket, but have some questions:

What is the real time for expiring a file, 28 (as the website says) or 45 days (as this thread says)?

What is the size limit to upload a file, 2 (as the website says) or 6 GB (as this thread says)?

What is the maxsize for file that a unregistered user can download from uploadrocket?
