I've just about completely made the switch to DuckDuckGo, primarily due to its stance on privacy. If it somehow fails to deliver on a specific query, I'll move on to the likes of Google or Yahoo, but I find it increasingly unnecessary to do so.

Plus, it's also a matter of supporting the little guy instead of the Fortune 500 crowd.

Google is the best search engine so far.
Its light weight. If my connection can't open Google search page, then it won't open anything.
Its accurate. If Google does not have the accurate answer for my search, then no other search engine would be able to give the answer.
It has simple user interface. If you can't use Google, then there is nothing you can do on internet :D
