Hi,

Since past 1 month we have been getting a lot of requests to add support for filehosters
in our program NeembuuUploader.

NeembuuUploader is a java based free and open source software which allows user to upload
files to various filehosts like mediafire.

One of our users told me that the reason for increase in requests was because some
popular software turned out to be a phishing tool and he gave me a link to a wjunction thread on this topic.

When I came to wjunction and read what people discussed in that thread, I realized that
there were many people who got scammed.

Pardon me for my bluntness, but what I do not understand is,
why do people use such proprietary software, instead of using,
encouraging and contributing to free and open source software?
Probably because we didn't do much advertisement,
or maybe because we support less than 1/5th the
number of hosters other programs support.

Please help us in improving NeembuuUploader instead of getting scammed.
Suggestions, remarks, tips, criticism would be highly appreciated.

Below is a list of a some of the filehosts that we support :

Our website link is : Neembuu Uploader

Thanks for reading

What you want is possible.
But we cannot run that on our server.
We can provide the software and someone will have to run it on their server as a service.

If you run it on your desktop, then it wouldn't make sense at all, as the file would be first
downloaded to your system, and then uploaded.

What we can also do is, integrate this with JDownloader.
JDownloader would download the file, and NU will upload the file.
Well ofcource that too will require a lot of work.
And the worst part is jdownloader is updated very very frequently.
And when they update, they don't only add, the remove features,
change function names, refactor the code a lot.
This makes our integration with jdownloader useless.

Anyway, long story made short, tell what we should do.
What would be the simplest way we can solve your problem?
With least amount of development?
We will try to deliver that first.
Advanced features can be done later.

the file is already upload to the rapidleech server. now i am making use of the rapidleech server fast upload speed to distribute to different filehosts.
so it is not easy to modify the program to just redirect the rapidleech link to a filehost remote upload. something like fxp (ftp to ftp) for ftp.

@bapi21
I was not sure what sborg is. I read about it, and get you point.
You guys want a full upload ecosystem.

I cannot guarantee it all.
Definitely a good concept.
But we don't have time to build all that.
It will take a lot of time.

We are sort of overwhelmed by the number of features requested.
The list just keeps on increasing.

We discussing this in detail on Sunday. You can definitely expect some major updates.

if Jdownloader update problem, then, find that update code and turn code off for 1/3/6 month...when your updates available then you update it...
yes, sborg is unique tools, so don't try to copy that...but you can change Neembu uploader to a auto-(downloader/extracter/uploader) tool like sborg do it...
This is most expected tools ever for us

Can you add the ability to save links in a txt file like zoom does like filename, link, delete link.
You should fix the file size limit for filecloud.io cause you can upload up to 2gb for free accounts

Hmm.. why aren't anyone crying foul at rapidleech for storing username & password in their servers?

Even though there hasn't been uncovered any foul play about this (yet), the potential for abuse is still there.

Everybody and their brothers has been warned not to use zoom because all usernames and passwords are apparently sent to him, but now it seems rapidleech is no more different.

Tusfiles is not slow

That was fixed, but hasn't been released. Ticket : Neembuu Uploader / Tickets / #222 Add support for premium for filecloud.io

You cannot disable updates in JDownloader.
Why? Because without updates, JD is useless.
Download plugins need to be updated 10x times more frequently than upload plugins.
JD guys are friendly, but they are not hand on helpful.
They just allow us to do what we want, but they don't help us in any special way
because they have 1000s of other headaches already.
It is really difficult working like that.

thanks

what hosts do you use?
I have great speed...not like zoom, but 70-80 MB/s on filehosts
may be your rdp/vps speed problem or slow uploading speedy hosts used?

i am using rapidgator, using zoom is 100MB/s but this app only 20MB/s

See, we have never tested NeembuuUploader on servers.
There isn't any reason as such for it to be slow. I mean, we haven't done anything that could make it slower.
We have simply followed the standard way to do things.
I guess we will increase the buffer size, that might increase speed, but there is no way for us to test it.

What you could try is, you could try uploading more than one file in parallel to saturate your bandwidth.

Upload speed is slow for me too. tested a few host like Zippyshare - Uptobox - Uploaded - Rapidgator - Fileom. i get good upload speed when i upload on them using browser but when i use this software speed is around 900kb. BTW thanks for fixing Uptobox in your update.
