i do not know what else other than a fucking mobile theme
 
Hi guys,
i'm not sure it's my place to comment on this issue, but considering all changes are gonna fall on my head i thought i should say a couple of things
First, we won't switch to anything other than Vbulletin. it's just a management decision and i am sorry for the people who hate it, but i can say i am an active member on a few other forums and i don't see any major problems with vbulletin.
I have no idea how other forum scripts work, i have never used them and porting all changes we have made to another script would probably take a few years :)
We have a lot of plugins and custom coding that makes the site run right now.
Second, we are planning an upgrade to vb4 pretty soon so we'll probably have to change something in the theme anyway, so your ideas are welcomed.
A mobile theme will be available once we make that change, it is pointless to work on a mobile theme now and one week later to make it obsolete.
Post more conclusive ideas guys, not stuff like "i don't like this theme"

Come on m8, you were on staff when this was suggest ages ago, even graphical submissions were given at the time and nothing was done. Ppl wasted a lot of their time for nothing.

Why again now?
 
SkyDiver - They weren't completed and I don't think the members that participated wish to finish it off as it's been a long time.

Hmm how do you know this? Wierd you know him since years ago and u just joined wjunction in April 2012.. Wow

Since when does it make any difference as to when I became a member?

Last time i looked there was no requirement to register. So i can observe the site from whenever timescale i wished to.

Hi , i think Facebook Interpretation like sharing post etc on walls , pages , groups would be great !
 
There was already a competition for a new 2nd theme and was voted on and the final design psd given to admins to be coded.

What happened to the threads or the PSD ?

The threads exist, they've just been buried into the dark side. As for the PSD, the previous administrators received them and they've left. Also, I doubt those that entered would be willing to complete it (it's been such a long time since the competition). I think it's best if we went ahead with a professional artist.

Flash: We are planning to upgrade to vBulletin 4, we're not going to be sticking to vBulletin 3 forever.
