Rule number 11 has changed.

11. NO DDL farms! Maximum of 12 links and 6 buttons.

Before it was 16 links and 8 buttons, now you must remove 4 links and 2 buttons.

Note:All webmasters will have 7 days to make all necessary changes, after 7 days we will start banning sites breaking the rules.

well.. if you wanna get accepted onto the good ones you have to have even less buttons and linkbacks. i think the norm is 10 linkbacks and 4 buttons.
 
I don't think anyone is going to follow this rule... even I....& i am ready to get banned...

i even didn't get any visitor from this DDL...
 
Most webmasters think that we are enforcing this rule just to gain in popularity. Thing is that search engines dont like websites that have over 20 links to external websites so its actually a good thing for both the ddl site and the owner of the "submission site" that there are rules regarding the max amount of buttons and links.

Most of the top download sites (directly the ones that send out most traffic) already enforced this rule. Since most webmasters first submit to the top ddl sites they would already have to comply with their rules. Point Im making here is that this new rule at rardownload doesn't change a thing ;-)

As I said before, we are not forcing anyone to follow the rules!

Many webmasters will follow them, so.

It's up to you guys, what's the point linking 40+ ddl sites? Thinking that way you will never get your site on top!
