It's been more than 30 years since Microsoft introduced the world to Paint, and now the software is set for an update that makes it more useful in today's world.
An early version of the app has appeared online for anyone to download. Microsoft is completely overhauling its Paint app, and the new version is designed to be a Universal Windows app with pen- and touch-friendly features. While a launch video demonstrates all the new 3D objects support, the leaked app appears to have been distributed in May to Microsoft testers.

The impressive demo showing the 3D design's functionality is similar to Oculus Quill or Vive Tilt Brush. "The timing of the Paint videos come just hours after Microsoft revealed planning to hold a special event in New York is later this month. Microsoft is widely expected to unveil a new Surface device at the event, with rumors suggesting it will be an all-in-one desktop PC," according to The Verge.

They should have done this about 15 years ago...but never too late. Quick situations where Photoshop wasn't available MsPaint saved the day.

I think MsPaint is dead, don't know why will they do an update on it, there are so many applications that do what paint can do and much more...
