Heya guys, I'd like this thread to be about all things to do with Off site SEO, white hat, grey hat or black hat.

Somethings I have learnt recently:

Get ScrapeBox and do ScrapeBox blasts, around 1,000 a day to not get affected, don't ping these backlinks as they'll get indexed faster which is more likely to raise suspicion by google. Create articles and blogs on high ranking article/blog sites as these outbound links will get you listed higher in google and hopefully a higher pagerank.

Link your article posts to other article posts whilst including your website links in some of the articles but not all of them. Have a very good keyword to use as anchor text on forums such as <a href="mysite">My Keyword Here</a> this will get you indexed for that keyword so Google will know your site is about that keyword. A keyword can be more than one word. You can check your keywords competition by logging into adwords and using the google keyword tool. This is a great tool to see how many times your keyword is searched for and how much competition it has.

Do on-site SEO before you start doing off-site SEO. Such as URL Rewrites, keep the most relevant content in the end of your link structure. Always have a relevant domain name, try to have a high ranking keyword as your domain name. Stick with standard TLD's such as .com .org .net.

(Will update this thread as I get more time, just skimming over the basic stuff I learnt not the more detailed stuff like link wheels & article spinning)

Yeah sorry, I haven't mentioned much detail because I'm a bit busy at the moment, cheers, I'll add that soon.

Well, honestly, I have never done much of Offsite SEO as I'm too lazy to do it. Onsite SEO helps alot and I mean alot.

I get my new sites get indexed with 12 hours. Oh and no blackhats used, I used only whitehat SEO technique to improve the indexing.

So I'd suggest you remove the black & grey hat part :p

Also waiting for more tips & tricks.

Thanks for the comment, I'm going to give an example in a couple of days my progress through analytics, better than that actually, I'll give it just over a week and show my performance, I'm not promising anything amazing as this'll be my first time using black hat. I'm pretty sure one of my sites is getting a better increase though, I'll go through everything tomorrow after I've been sleep recapping all the certain sections, what they do and how they work. I'll also elaborate on terminology such as OBL, PR, Blasting etc.

Making backlinks depends on the age of the domain/website and already existing backlinks. If you start building 1k backlinks on 1 day old domain than chances of sandboxing is high although I never experienced sandboxing by google even when i made a 10k links in few hours. Nevertheless it depends on the technique of making backlinks.

It's good, but not needed, tbh.

Results of the onsite 'SEO' I've done in 3-4 minutes, lol.

Its an autoblog, content is duplicate, still I'm ranking good for specific keywords :p

And, no offsite SEO & no blackhat techniques. ;) Jason is right :)

although i am not pretty good at this i do have a feeling that scrapebox methods will be dying soon cause google is surely getting smarter and they have a new update coming soon which will most probably kill most of the autoblog or spam sites, anyways this good for me as i have seen a blast of traffic from 4k to 9k during the past week and i am happy if most of the crappy autoblogs die :D

These are the things that I do for my Off Page SEO:
1) Directory submissions
2) Social Bookmarkings
3) Article writing and submission (One article is submitted to only 2 sites not more)
4) Forum posting
5) Blog commenting
Also all these things are done manually and I don't use any software to do any of these. Maybe that is why I have not gotten punished.

Some Off site SEO tips
1. Carry out link exchange with other sites.
2. Carry out social bookmarking and tagging.
3. Buy link text from other sites with a page rank of five and above. You can also find this in auction sites such as e-bay.
4. Write articles based on specific keyword depending on your niche and carry out one way back link to your sites.
5. Write a press release and submit it to press release sites such as pr-web.com for one way back link.
6. Provide valuable tips and replies in the niche forum your new site is based on and submit your forum signature with a back link to your site. Also, use anchor text for the keyword and point it back to your site.
7. Pay for linking from sites such as yahoo directory.
8. Submit your RSS feed to blogging directories and blogging search engines.

Good content is most important - and I don't mean loads of keywords, I mean ux. Write your content FOR your visitors, write something YOU would find interesting and you're half way there.

Then validate your code - google w3c validator. VERY important.

Then get your description tags sorted also very important.

Then keep your page load quick - Google website optimization.

Then get on webmaster tools - submit a sitemap and check the HTML suggestions regularly - google will tell you if there's anything it doesn't like.
Do these things and I GUARANTEE you'll see an increase.

It gets harder after this. Page structure - make sure things are in the right order - title, h1, h2, paragraphs. Put your important keywords near the top.

If you've done all this, google wordtracker - find the popular terms and track your positions - if you want to move up, make sure these terms are in your title tags etc.

Even harder - build some links (genuine ones) and use the keywords in the links.

Then keep repeating all these steps whilst adding content regularly.

For getting perfect and genuine ranking in Google we always mention priorities to ON-page and OFF-page SEO. Above Given comment by user are awesome for SEO, so I recommended that Follow above Forum answers.

If you want to improve your SEO, you have to remember it boils down to these 2 major aspects: offsite and onsite SEO.

Onsite SEO is optimizing your website. You have to consider many things such as title tags, meta description, anchor links, architecture, and even design. Having a responsive website is a plus. Some people ignore the aesthetics of a website and dismiss it as if it's not a part of SEO, but they don't realize that if you have an ugly or unprofessional website, you won't be able to convert as well as your competitor who will have a better website. People judge books by their cover just as they will judge the first impression you give them on the web. Another important thing to remember is the power of content. If you don't provide people with what they need, why would people choose you over your competitor? If Google sees that you give people what they are looking for, then it will help your rankings!

Offsite SEO essentially means getting backlinks. Backlinks are links that are linked to your website from other sites. Keep in mind that backlinks from bad sources WILL hurt you more than help you. Don't purchase backlinks. The best backlinks are organic backlinks. To get people to link back to you, you have to a little work. Be creative, be interesting, be innovative. Create something that people will love or find useful and people will link back to you. This stuff takes time and dedication, but the long term benefits will be great.

Getting better rankings means NOT being lazy. Not only does it require dedication and creativity, but it also requires technical knowledge on best practices!
