[h=2]Dedicated server vs Cloud server
1.Cloud Server
Cloud hosting has many advantages, which is why it has become so popular. It’s extremely reliable, because even if one of the connected servers goes down, the other servers will maintain hosting. Because the cloud is run on multiple servers, you can easily add more servers enabling seemingly endless scalability. Cloud hosting is essentially synonymous with the Internet (to most people, it’s the same thing), so like the Internet you can access your data from anywhere in the world. All this at a relatively low cost too, which is typically pay per usage. While some companies may have concerns over security, cloud hosting firms help companies overcome this by offering dedicated IT support and establishing strict controls.
2.Dedicated servers
Rather than store your data in some unknown virtual environment, many companies choose to use their own dedicated servers. A dedicated server is exactly how it sounds – a server that someone buys or leases to manage all the data. It’s kind of like using your personal computer, but on a much grander scale. This is the most traditional route for hosting.Dedicated servers have plenty of advantages. They are much safer and offer better performance because the connections are direct. They also offer full control of your data management. When you run of out of storage space, you simply need to get an additional server to handle the new load. Of course, servers aren’t perfect and do occasionally go down, but a quick fix can bring all your data back to normal.
3.Your concerns
If your company manages highly sensitive data – for instance, financial data or personal identity information – then dedicated servers are the way to go. They may cost more in the long run compared to the cloud, but as the saying goes, you can’t put a price on security, especially when that security is for vital personal information.
For all other companies, cloud hosting is the way to go. Your data will be accessible around the clock and from anywhere in the world, so you can keep your business running like clockwork. The cloud can quickly keep up with your company’s growth and you only pay for the hosting you need.

your ideas?

It's mostly about the budget and your resources needs.
Cloud usually cost you more for the same resources but you can be flexible with your server resources and count.
Dedicated server can be cheaper but you can't discard it in a minute and request a new tomorrow.
So it's up to you.

Some Cloud Server advantages over dedicated servers:
- Fast cloning
- Fast migration
- Snapshots
- Cheaper
- Most time faster (better resources at lower price)
- Reinstallation in seconds

Some Dedicated Server advantages over cloud servers:
- Dedicated resources (CPU, network)
- Better data isolation
- Not affected by neighbor servers usage

All these depend on hosting company resources allocation and management.

Cloud service you can faster change resources but price for this higher -> you pay for what you use.
Dedicated cheaper but need more time for upgrade/downgrade -> more downtime.

The real cloud is better than dedicated server, but keep in mind cloud is marketing term now. People selling vps call it cloud so comparing with such clouds dedicated servers are much better.

Dedicated servers are more powerful and expensive. It can handle multiple request and traffic.

While cloud servers or of two types. VPS and Cloud servers. Cloud servers is better over dedicated servers but cloud VPS is not better than a dedicated server.

BTW, Does not Cloud servers are made from one or multiple dedicated servers?

Dedicated servers are the ultimate power. It depends how you use it or configure.

IMO cloud server is the way to go. I heard excellent reviews about DigitalOcean, note that it is meant for developers or advanced users with technical skills.

It really depends on you r needs. Computing in large scale requires cloud servers. But many companies call VPS as cloud. Actually they are selling VPS.

Dedicated Servers are completely a physical servers with all server resources and cloud servers are the virtual machines on physical servers with shared server resources.

your ideas?

Cloud Server has its own advantages which include, It is flexible for small-scale business and start-up environments, Here in cloud server we only pay for resources what we use, We can able to access anywhere from global, All the issues can be achieved in only a few clicks.

Dedicated Server mainly used by business or organizations. In this, we can able to solve issues manually but in this accessing resources can take a long time in some circumstances.
