I opened this thread so that webmasters can share their experiences with webhosting services.
I just learnt the hard way that googling the reviews for the top vps host is not the reliable way to go.
Through google, I found this site: http://www.vpshostreviews.com
I am still puzzled how a sites like coolhanle.com and lunarpages.com could find their way among the top 10 vps ranks.
What ever services you use, stay away from
1. http://www.coolhandle.com
2. http://www.lunarpages.com

These two vps hosts are probably the most unprofessional on the net. They seem to have no clue about what they are doing.
Once lunarpages.com receive your money, you won't hear from them for another 24hours. When they are finally ready to get off the couch, it is only about apologies and the bring nothing to the table.
If you request a refund, all you gonna get is vitriol.
if you still decide to use lunarpages.com make sure you pay via paypal so that you can later open a dispute and reclaim your dough.
BTW they charge $72/month.
