Can't request payment, I don't receive codes. I messaged support twice and still no answer. It looks like they removed my email address from their data base or something. Funny thing, I never set the new authentication method on my account. They did it without my knowledge and now the codes go into void or their system simply doesn't generate/send them. I think I lost my patience for this host. They change something like every week.
 
Other than shaving, they recently added mining on their videos without notice or control over it. This is a picture showing a part of the script

Hi guys. My battle with thevideo admins seems to have no end, but first of all, Mrens would you be so so kind to explain in details what you meant by mining? How does it affect our earnings? And here are a few details about my issues with thevideo. As I explained in previous posts, I can't request payment from thevideo.me. It is because of their broke verification method. Yes, that crap that is supposed to send codes to your email address or phone. The thing is they removed my email address from their data base (which they confirmed, yest they finally replied on my message) and since I didn't enter my phone number, I can choose the alternative method of receiving codes. I found out that many users have the same problem. And thevideo guys keep repeating the same crap over and over again, that we should disable this, disable that, while without the codes we can't do anything on our accounts. We can't change email address, we can't change phone numbers, we can't disable security, we can't change any settings on our accounts and we can't request payments. So finally they agreed to reset my account settings manually. And that was the last time I heard from them. It was like 5 days ago. The guy I talked to had no idea how the stuff on their website works. It looks like they just paid for the website template with all this fancy panel and cool stuff, but they don't know how to use it. All I get are tons of ridiculous notifications appearing on my screen each time I try to change anything on my account. I also noticed that I can't delete my files and folders anymore. I can sometimes remove separate files, but there's no bulk remove option and folders can't be removed no matter what. So yeah, they already secured their income. Anyway at this point I am ready to beark my ties with thevideo.me. I would like to get 15$ they still have to pay me (yup, it's not much, cause I rarely use their services) but to be honest I am sick and tired of constant problems and obstacles they create for people who make money for them. And don't get me wrong, I am not telling anyone to stop using thevide, but I just wanted to warn you guys what kind of issues you can experience. If you want more details, I got all my corespondece with thevideo.me on screenshots, so please just pm if you would like to see what kind of fantastic stories they wrote to me.

Oh boy. Thanks for explanation Mrens. This sounds serious. I know very little about mining cryptocurency. I thought you meant something else. However, wouldn't they need to instal some sort of software on our devices to be able to use them for such remote actions? I noticed many file hosting services recently try to make extra money on cryptocurencies, mostly on BTC, just by requesting fake fees from users. These are fees they take from money generated by us each time we use BTC payment methods and they are much much higher than the real ones generated by various BTC services, markets and websites. Anyway, if thevideo is doing what you showed us on those screenshots, just OMFG, I don't know what to say. People should really stop using that host.
 
For a year now remote upload has had issues with the files getting stuck on "initiating" and for many times it has been for hours upon hours and you cannot contact technical support directly as the box i see only has customer rep assistance and that is never good help when dealing with technical issues as the customer rep does not know much of anything. many times they did temporary fixes to where the issue comes back after a few days and you go through the same thing again.

Don't know if technical support really bothers with finding a better solution to fixing the issue but as i type this i have files stuck on thevideo. and vidup.me and i notified them earlier this morning and it is now 5:11 p.m here. so many hours have passed and they have not tried to fix it..

So i do believe most of the complaints when it comes to thevideo as i have experienced similar issues with support. very poor customer service.

I even requested payment on october 19th and have not recieved it and we are now november 15,2107

Websites can mine using your machines via javascript as well. That's something unethical IMHO.

I requested wire transfer on October 19, 2017 and never did get it when they send out wire transfers, which is the 20th of every month. Now we are November 20, 2017 and still PENDING, Chatting with Blake the customer rep right now and he cannot even get a reply from his own accounting team regarding my payment. Account team gets the requests and i know they are aware of my wire transfer. had a month advance notice now .
