Hi All,

I would like to ask about your experience with Pinterest, I find it lately to be very interesting (I believe it can be easily monetize once you have a good profile). The main problem is that the follower rate on Pinterest is very low, about 1% (only targeted visitors), so I want to ask if any of you had a better experience with the FR (follow rate) on Pinterest.

What I've done so far:
- followed as many targeted users as I could before the limitations started to appear
- followed targeted boards 10 per day
- added 10 pins per day from targeted sources, I tried to be careful to share interesting content, I even got some shares

SO now the follower rate is 1%, my question is if I increase the number of pins per day will the FR increase? Also, are there any other ways to improve the FR, others then the ones mentioned here?

Thanks!

Hmm, based on my personal experience, the more you engage the more chance you'll get noticed.
Why don't you like and comment on pins too? It won't take much of your time.

I did started interacting with pin users and started to send messages to follow back, things are improving a little bit. Also I am posting more often now on pinterest. Thanks for your advice, I will start to comment directly on pins too.

I agree - the more you interact/share, the higher is the possibility of getting noticed and increasing your results. BUT however, your success mostly depends on the content you share and on the specifics of the content (your area of interest). Let's say that attracting more followers if you're a designer/fashion designer/interior designer is way more easy than trying to push some content with Linux tutorials.
