Webmin barely consumes any ram while in the other hand I believe ISPConfig consumes more ram than webmin and kloxo.

Never used ISPConfig. for Webmin you will have to get used to it a bit as out of the box it wont be easy to navigate around it if you are used to cPanel. once you learn it it will be nice but in the beginning it can be a bit tough, but theres always google for tutorials.

i was reading on WHT and people are saying webmin got hacked easily because it runs on port 1000

is it true?

also got to know a new panel from WHT
http://www.openpanel.com

any experience on that?

Haven't ran across that article but I have read a lot of them which states webmin is more secured than Kloxo.

webmin is still updated, I dont think kloxo gets updates anymore, or i might be wrong

yea kloxo sucks franckly its horrible if you are used to cpanel,i just hope there will be some open source panel which could be compared to cpanel in future :)

Webmin is the best because 1) it's up-to-date and gets bugfixes, and 2) because it's a wonderfully thin layer on top of the config files themselves
