How to Extract RAR files

This article assumes you've already installed WinRAR and have a set of RAR files. If this is not the case, click here to learn how to install WinRAR and/or click here to download a set of RAR files from RapidShare.

- Navigate to the location on your computer where you have saved the RAR files.
- - Select one of the RAR files by single-clicking on it.
- - Right-click on the file. This will display the context menu (right-click menu).
- - Select the option titled "Extract to name\", where "name" is what the folder will be called.
- - If the archive is password-protected, as is often the case, you will be prompted to input the password. Enter the password in the text field and click the button titled "OK".

- - This creates the folder in the existing location and extracts all the files contained in the RAR archive into this folder.
