Well in the case of Muliposter Jayfella is very clever I think. He doesn't add any websites, categories, tags, or anything warez related by default. The point is it can be used by anyone to set up how they like and the fact that 99% of it's users are warez doesn't matter as it's designed and released as a general autoposter to be used legally not a warez specific autoposter. This will be even more the case for MP7 as anything warez related will probably be added by plugins. Ya I know 99% who use it is for warez but Jayfella sells a legit piece of software. As I said it's clever what the way he's released it.

Themeposter is different as it contains warez sites added by default so it technically shouldn't be allowed on WJ I suppose as it is promoting warez.

It's all very vague the rules.

This forum was created with the intention of giving our members a place to discuss various issues with file hosts and their affiliate programs without having to work around the numerous officially supported threads which are sometimes updated every minute or so. This is perfect for things such as polls, discussions on current issues, comparisons etc.
From: http://www.wjunction.com/102-file-ho...t-section.html

Except the affiliate program, all other things are still allowed to discuss regarding filehost which includes:
  • Discuss various issues
  • Polls
  • Discussions
  • Current Issues
  • Comparisons
So why should Filehost section be removed? Only earning discussions to filehost were disallowed according to the new rules.
Users can still discuss the above things freely in that area.
So, i would say NO to the thread suggestion

Guys Guys Guys

Lets stop this bitching for now as we dont even know whats going to really happen.
Maybe they will only end up banning some of the warez related stuff, maybe they will ban all.
Right thing to do is wait it trough.

We should wait until the transformation has been finished.
After that we can start discussing what we should add/remove

Right now i find it funny that most of the members are complaining even tho none us us really knows whats going to happen.

I'm confused with the new rule too.

If this forum doesn't like filehosts earning discussions then just delete all the filehost threads that pay for its uploaders.

I don't get why some filehost topics are locked and some are still open when they both clearly break "earning discussions" rule.

If FileHost threads will be deleted that means no traffic from google and even if there is traffic it will say thread deleted, thus it will be bad for wjunction from all that traffic its getting especially due to all this issue caused by filehosts and fbi and all..

anyways its upto the admin here..

O.K Lets close this issue once and for all, i think i already stated this before, at this point of time there is NO intention on removing file hosts section.

We do NOT want people to share their "earnings here" , and we DO NOT want people to share best practices for warez sharing, we are not here for this.

We DO allow Discussion, we are DISCUSSION board, but we will NOT support the activities we mentioned above.

Please lets stop at that, i think we are clear enough on this issue.
