Ubuntu 9.10 Installer Bugfix (Blank Screen) partition Manager - WJunction

Heya just posting a note about the new ubuntu that has just been released..

Theres a bug in the installer, Live mode and install from boot mode where the partition manager shows up blank and you cannot continue the installer!

ive searched all threw the bug trackers for a fix and nobody seems to have the answer

Well thats just changed because i have found the issue and have a workaround!

Boot ubuntu up in live mode
Load synaptic package manager (System > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager)
Search for "dmraid" and it should come back as installed!
Right-click and click "Mark for un-installation"
Click apply and then wait for it to be removed

Then just proceed as normal threw the installation and you should now be able to format/partitiion your drive and continue the installation.

i believe this bug has affected a great amount of systems from HP to Acer and the reason why i have posted this thread is not just for wjunction users but for users who are searching google for a fix!
