how can i delete uncategorized category from wordpress it cant be remove from admin cp kindly guide me how can i do it from phpmyadmin

and please dont say to rename it to sub category or category name i just want to remove it

1.Go in Wordpress here and tick





to another one at the moment its the one you will Delete right?

After that you can Delete it or not?!

you can't remove it . and why should you ? just don't add posts to that category , and it won't show it on your blog .

Correct, you cannot delete the 'uncategorized' category. It's there to catch those posts where no category has been given.
