RapidGator, one of the file-hosting sites that grew exponentially following the Megaupload shutdown last month, has been banned by PayPal. As a result, the Russian-based site says it will close the service in a month. According to PayPal, the RapidGator account was closed due to the “high risks” associated with processing payments to file-sharing services.

Warez website webmaster + uploaders should migrate to moneybookers if they didn't done so till now. Russians still have a good choice to use Webmoney which is supported by many filehosts.

Hi, We have very good news. Rapidgator been sold to new owner so website will no be closed. We have new management and new developers and we are going to make RapidGator one of the best filehosting sites. All partners will get paid next week. New processing will be connected asap.
